A $2 Billion Trade Secret Misappropriation Verdict

U.S. courts can be fun.  Appian received over a $2 billion trade secret judgement in Virginia state court.  In addition, Appian secured over $23 million in attorney fees.  The case involved trade secret misappropriation and the Virginia Computer Crimes Act.  Appian was represented by Patterson Belknap.  The attorneys representing Appian included:  Adeel A. Apparently, a company should not call someone possibly engaged in corporate espionage for them a "spy" or something like that.  That looks bad later.
