It has done little over the years to generate readership in the younger demographic. Indeed, I would bet there are few folks under 40 who have ever picked up a RD. And, you are right, a trademark will only be valuable if it will generate loyalty from a group of product buyers. If that loyalty existed today, RD likely would not be in the trouble in which it is in currently.
