However, it will be interesting to see whether past performance will continue in the face of the economic downturn and recent layoffs at Dow in the professional management ranks. It is my understanding that Dow (and other similar companies) have recently laid off personal in "non-critical" areas such as intellectual asset management. So, they may have been thought leaders in the past, but without people managing the process currently and in the future, they will not be good for long. In short, if I were looking for companies that will likely emerge from this recession with higher intellectual asset value and competitive advantage resulting from intangible assets, I would look for those companies that did not shed intellectual asset managers from its ranks.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12023310886433949839noreply@blogger.com
